Trauma-informed virtual therapy for adults in MA & NC
I create affirming space for folks to bring their most authentic selves in order to move towards healing and balance.
Whether you are experiencing high anxiety, symptoms after trauma exposure, or difficulty moving through a big life transition you’ve come to the right place.
Meet Emma
Hi, my name is Emma (She/her). I’m a licensed therapist and I’ve spent the last 8 years supporting folks recovering from traumatic experiences. I specialize in treating PTSD and anxiety conditions.
I also have a passion for working with neurodivergent folks and I am skilled at honoring individuals' unique communication and learning styles within sessions. I enjoy collaborating with clients to explore what ways of communicating and processing are most authentic to them,
My practice is rooted in connection and attunement. I work with folks seeking to reduce trauma symptoms, increase self-acceptance, reduce anxiety, overcome unhelpful self-talk, and increase insight into the way their past impacts their present.

My Approach
In every session, I approach with a genuine curiosity, eager to understand your personal experiences and support your path forward. My training under community organizers, social workers, and psychologists is rooted in the Liberation Health Model, which continues to inform my practice.
I provide culturally-conscious, 2SLGBTQIA+ and neurodiversity-affirming therapy. I honor an individual's cultural, spiritual, and ancestral knowledge of healing.
I tailor treatment to fit an individual's needs and utilize CBT, CPT, EMDR, mindfulness, and empowerment techniques.
How can I support you?
Acknowledgment
I acknowledge that the origins of the medicalized mental health field has deep roots in racist, ableist, and sexist ideology. While I provide services to folks of all different race, ethnicity, and cultural backgrounds, I believe that folks of the global majority should have access to therapists that hold shared identity if preferred. If you need help being connected to a therapist who holds a shared identity, I am happy to provide resources.
