I’m so glad you’re here

Hi, my name is Emma

She/her

I’m a licensed therapist (LICSW) and I’ve spent the last 8 years supporting folks recovering from traumatic experiences. I specialize in treating PTSD and anxiety conditions and enjoy working with neurodivergent people.

I began my career providing therapy and advocacy for young people and their families in schools and community clinics in New York City. I then spent 8 years as a mental health counselor at Boston University’s Sexual Assault Response & Prevention Center providing individual and group therapy for trauma survivors.

I’m a white, neurodivergent, pansexual, cis woman who is a member of a multicultural family. I live with my husband, two little humans and a cat. I love to be in nature and to paint. I also love to be with aligned community and believe healing often takes place with the support of a trusted community.

The Voice of doubt, shame, and guilt blaring in our heads is not our voice. It is a voice given by a society steeped in shame. It is the ‘outside voice.’ Our authentic voice, our ‘inside voice’, is the voice of radical self-love.

My Approach

I show up with a curious heart and mind to each session, seeking to understand your experience to support you on your journey.  I was trained by community organizers, social workers and psychologists rooted in the Liberation Health Model, and my work continues to be grounded in this practice.

I provide culturally-conscious, 2SLGBTQIA+ and neurodiversity-affirming therapy. I honor an individual's cultural, spiritual, and ancestral knowledge of healing.

I tailor treatment to fit an individual's needs and utilize CBT, CPT, EMDR, mindfulness, and empowerment techniques.

I have a passion for working with neurodivergent folks and I am skilled at affirming individuals' unique communication and learning styles within sessions.
